Over the weekend, Invida Malaysia invited a group of bloggers to their K.I.S.S.ED By Kinerase event to introduce us to the Kinerase® range of products which are for now exclusively available at selected dermatologist and aesthetic clinics.
Kinerase® is formulated with a unique ingredient called Kinetin and is said to be the only skincare line to contain optimal concentrations of Kinetin (N6-furfuryladenine), a potent bio-growth factor to delay the onset of aging in human skin cells, among other things.

These are the Kinerase® products:-
- Moisturizers – Cream (for normal & dry skin) & Lotion (for oily & combination skin) : contain 0.1% Kinetin for better overall complexion and improved fine wrinkles, especially in the crow’s feet area.
- Gentle Daily Cleanser – washes away make-up and impurities, enriched with Green tea extracts and has a foaming formula.
- Eye Cream – targets fine lines and wrinkles, contains 0.125% Kinetin, the highest concentration level in the Kinerase® Care Collection. Other key ingredients include Coix Seed Extract and Sodium Hyaluronate for hydration, Aloe Vera for soothing and reducing irritation and Grape Seed Extract for boosting antioxidant and fighting redness.

Kinerase® conducted a clinical study in Asia on Kinetin for tracking skin aging on photo-damaged skin called the Kinerase® Innovative Skincare Study (K.I.S.S. trial). Over the 12 week K.I.S.S. trial, 275 patients in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Taiwan were assessed by 30 physicians over regular intervals at week 4, 8 and 12. Their aim was to test the effectiveness of Kinerase® Cream. Tammy Lim, editor-in-chief of plusizekitten.com was one of those who participated in the K.I.S.S. trial and had positive results as she said that her fine lines and wrinkles had been reduced and her complexion was clearer since she started using the Cream.
According to the brand, the K.I.S.S. trial is the first time a cosmeceutical brand has conducted an Asian-specific study and the results assure patients and physicians of the efficacy and safety of Keratin on Asian skin. Kinetin was discovered in 1955 and is also found naturally in plants, it prevents plant leaves from drying out and withering.

As you can probably guess from the pictures, the theme of the event was blue, hence there were blue drinks, blue jelly and blue lipstick for bloggers to try on.
Fatin of chocolatecatsz won a prize for best pose and here she is in her winning pose and blue lipstick. As for the prices of the products, I asked one of their medical representatives and he said that prices would be available upon consultation with one of the dermatologists but he quoted RM800+ for the entire range.
