The Jumbo Queen 2014 Pageant returns this year at Sungei Wang Plaza in search of eligible plus size ladies to be crowned Champion of Miss Jumbo Queen during the Final on 23rd November 2014. This pageant is open to single or married ladies with a minimum weight of 80 kg. The contestants will be judged based on their stage personality, confidence, crowd response, apparel and overall performance. The contestants will have to go through the Selection round first which will be held on 1st & 2nd November 2014.The contestants will then be shortlisted for the Semi-Final on 9th November 2014 and finally the Final on 23rd November 2014.
Over RM21, 000 worth of prizes to be won ranging from cash, shopping vouchers, beauty products, trophy and others. There are 7 titles to be won in this pageant namely Miss Jumbo Queen 2014, 1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up and 4 subsidiary titles namely “Most Talented”, “Most Online Votes on Facebook”, “Most Votes on Magnum App” and “MY FM Most Popular Award”.
Apart from the judges marks, fans of the Jumbo Queen 2014 contestants are also able to vote for their favourite contestant to increase their winning chances. Fans would just need to download Magnum 4D Live Mobile Application from app.magnum.my and start voting for their favourite contestant from 27th October 2014 – 1st November 2014 for Selection 1 & 2 category, 3rd November – 8th November 2014 for Semi-Final and 10th November – 22nd November 2014 for Final. Votes submitted from the Magnum 4D Live Mobile Application will contribute 10% of total marks for each category.
Additionally, fans can also vote on Sungei Wang Plaza’s Facebook from 11th November – 22nd November 2014. The contestant with the most votes will receive the “Most Online Votes on Facebook” award.
Jumbo Queen 2014 is presented by Magnum. The official radio stations are My FM and Mix FM while the official magazine is feminine. Official make-up is Xpression Make-Up Academy followed by curve queenz as the official outfit. Official hair-do by Miko Hair Studio & Academy and official skincare is Adonis Beauty.
