Jane’s Cottage Soaps Calendula Soap is made from olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, dried calendula petals and rosemary essential oil. The petals of the calendula flower are used in skincare products for their healing and soothing properties. During the American Civil War, calendula flowers were used on the battlefields in open wounds as antihemorrhagic and antiseptic, and they were used in dressing wounds to promote healing.
This soap has a mild floral fragrance and can be used on face and body. Nice to know that calendula has soothing properties as it’s definitely beneficial to skin. Jane’s Cottage Soaps soaps retail at RM15 per 100g.
