Sometimes I wonder why I bother to be nice to people who obviously can’t even pretend to be nice to me even when I am attending their event. Hypothetically, let’s say you attend an event and the person in front of you gets hugged warmly by the host but when you try to do the same, the host just gives you a touch on your shoulder. Made me wonder if I had leprosy or body odour. #Awkward!
I get that I am not a social media influencer or even a famous blogger but honestly, if I am the host of an event, I would try to give equal treatment to all my guests and not let my true feelings show so clearly. This isn’t even the 1st time I have been snubbed hugged or is it hugged snubbed by this person as I never received a hug the last time I saw her but she hugged another blogger as if she was her daughter. I think that no matter how high the position of a person in a company, they might still have a lot to learn as far as public relations are related or I’ll just deem myself not important enough as others but I won’t lose any sleep over it. To the person who only hugs important media, don’t worry because I will never ever try and hug you again because you are so not worth it.
