A friend alerted me to the new H & M beauty products and I checked them out at H & M Nu Sentral. One of the staff was so nice when he saw me looking at the make-up brushes. He told me that I could examine them out of the packaging as long as I put them back again. No problem! There are brushes with white handles which are cheaper than the ones with black handles as the black handled ones are the premium brushes which means longer handles and softer hairs (all synthetic). Most of the brushes are priced between RM24.90 and RM49.90.
The dual-ended brushes (white handles) would be very useful and economical :
- powder and foundation brush @ RM24.90 with one end for applying, blending and contouring with liquid and cream foundations and one end for applying powder, blushers and bronzers
- foundation and concealer brush @ RM24.90 with one end for applying, blending and contouring with liquid and cream foundations and one end for applying highlighter and concealer
- buffer and blusher brush @ RM29.90 with one end for applying, blending and contouring with liquid and cream foundations and one end for applying powder, blushers and bronzers.
I was also sorely tempted by the make-up bags as they are very spacious and just what anyone needs for make-up storage especially when travelling.

My favourite make-up bag is the last image above as it feels so soft and looks luxurious. The smaller mesh bag within is a bonus as it can keep smaller items and this is such an ideal bag if you don’t want to mix everything together.
Those H & M brushes caught my eye the other day, but I didn’t have the chance to examine them IRL! Their makeup bags are also really worth buying. I am really tempted to try those black handled ones.
I think the H & M brushes are more than capable of giving those from the established brands a run for the money!
