The hot weather has resumed! Just when I thought the days and nights were slightly cooler, the past few days have been unbearably warm and I am so relieved whenever I am indoors. In Malaysia and elsewhere, Muslims are preparing for the holy month of Ramadan. In such hot weather, fatigue takes a toll on the body.
With Ramadan barely a week away, Guardian Malaysia joined forces with popular celebrity guests to share insights and tips on staying fit and healthy during the month-long fast.
The theme of the panel discussion this morning at Sunway Putra Mall was “Ramadan Murni, Penampilan Berseri” and aims at raising awareness on how to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle during Ramadan.
Hosted by Nazrudin Rahman and his wife, Sheahnee Iman Lee or better known as Naz and Sheahnee, the panel included Guardian Malaysia’s own pharmacist and store manager, Puan Hajjah Umil Kalthom and Assistant Manager for Public and Government Relations, Puan Farahani Failul Rahman. Lening additional glamour to the event was well known actress, TV Presenter and Entrepreneur, Ms . Sazzy Falak and popular sports celebrity, Mr. Mohd Khairul Effendy @ Ayon, a leading name in the game of futsal.
