Fresh N’ Fruity : Nature Republic Peach Morning Fruits Shower Gel

Although Nature Republic has been in town for some time (I believe their 1st outlet was in Berjaya Times Square), I haven’t been to any of their outlets. A more accessible outlet would be the one in Fahrenheit 88 but I’ll wait till they open their doors in Sunway Pyramid or 1 Utama.

I had a quick look at Nature Republic Malaysia’s website and am amazed at the number of products available. It makes me want to run out to the nearest outlet and check out some of them. Nature Republic’s Morning Fruits Peach Shower Gel is one of the products brought back by Camie from the Land of the Morning Calm.

When I opened the tube of Shower Gel, there was an overwhelming scent of peaches. It is a pretty strong scent which is gorgeous for the shower. It lathers up okay but if you want more lather to build up, I’d suggest using a sponge or shower puff with this one.

Although the scent doesn’t linger for long on my skin, it really lingers a long time in the bathroom. It might be due to the fact that some of the product stuck to the outside of the cap or because the scent really is that strong but each time I step into my bathroom, I catch a whiff of peaches. It’s like having an air freshener in the room.

I would purchase the Morning Fruits Shower Gel as they are affordably priced but for the fact that it seems to finish up quite fast. After half a dozen uses, the tube is already half-empty! Another issue that I have with this Shower Gel is that the packaging is awful as the tube goes out of shape after a few uses.

The normal retail price is RM19.90 but they are currently available at RM15 on the website. I’d like to try the other variations such as Grapefruit, Blue Berry and Green Grape I think there are more cons than pros with this Shower Gel.
