Makeup products which are multi-purpose get my attention every time. These are time saving and save space in the cosmetics bag. Etude House has an eye mix & stick product with eyeshadow stick on one end and eyeliner in a complementing shade on the other end.
There are 3 shades of eye mix & stick and the one I picked up some time ago is #2 navy grey. It’s practical as it can be smudged on to the eyelid for a daytime smoky eye look. It’s not an intense colour and if you want a stronger smoky look, you’d just have to use it as a base and apply powder eyeshadow over it. I’d normally use it with additional powder eyeshadow for more intensity.
What I like about this product other than the colour is the easy and smooth application of both the shadow stick and eyeliner which doesn’t smudge on me. Lasting power is good but if you find it fading, then this is a product which you can bring along in your handbag and reapply whenever necessary.
I’ve been using more of the eyeliner end than the eyeshadow end because I use the eyeliner with other eyeshadows. The eyeliner end may appear flimsy because it’s so thin but the quality is good as it hasn’t broken once.
The eye mix & stick aren’t exactly cheap for Made in Korea cosmetics as they retail at RM39.90. I went to Etude House, Sunway Pyramid recently but didn’t see them any more. I wonder if they have been discontinued?
