Cyber Colors which is available only at Sasa, came out with their Gemstone range of makeup last year which included the Aqua-Base Pudding Aquatic Foundation SPF20PA++, Compact SPF40PA++, 3 Eyeshadow Palettes, 2 Blush Wear and 8 Silky Glowing Rouge.
The Silky Glowing Rouge come in a click-tube whereby one just has to twist the base for the lipstick to appear, this minimises the risk of breakage. It can also be considered more hygienic since most of the product is not exposed, just the minimum required for one application.
08 Pearly Coral is more pink than coral, it’s rather creamy in texture (it’s described as having a creamy gelato texture) and feels moisturising thanks to macadamia ternifolia seed oil as one of the ingredients. The colour is quite bright and intense, it applied smoothly on the lips.
As for staying power, it transfers easily on to cup rims but much of it still remains on the lips. After my lunch, there was still some colour remaining around the edges of my lips. I guess it does have above average staying power.
Much as I like the colour of this lipstick, I probably won’t repurchase because I think it is pricey – there’s only 1.6g of product and it retails at RM57.90. MAC’s lipsticks are 3g and RM63, not to mention most other brand’s lipsticks are also 3g or more.
