The last time I bought Chinese tea was before Chinese New Year from a kiosk in MidValley, it was rather expensive at RM28 per packet. At that time, I had a serious craving for chrysanthemum tea and rose buds. I prefer loose tea over sachets as loose tea tastes so much better. When I ran out of the tea, I decided to have a look at what Shopee offered and there were a lot of choices.
Settled on Xenz Commerce on Shopee as they have teas at reasonable prices. I ordered Chrysanthemum Buds and Genmaicha at RM12 and RM10 respectively on Tuesday evening. The seller had already dispatched the package yesterday and by this afternoon, Poslaju had arrived with the package. Thumbs up for such speedy service from the seller.
The teas also came with notes on the teas’ benefits, recommended pairings (e.g. Chrysanthemum Buds can be mixed with Goji, Rose, Honeysuckle and Jasmine), recommended serving, shelf life and warning (not advisable to be consumed during pregnancy or menstrual period).
