OXY Icy Cool Wash

Yes, I do know that this facial wash is unsuitable for me on more than 1 count, Firstly, this is a brand for people half my age or should I say more than half my age and secondly, it’s for oily prone skin but I couldn’t resist trying it myself rather than passing it on to someone else to review as it promises a cooling effect and it has been so hot that a cooling facial wash seems like just the thing I need.

OXY Icy Cool Wash contains dual beads – blue cooling beads for instantly refreshing and energizing while giving skin a cooling sensation and green exfoliating beads for reaching deep into pores to remove trapped dirt, oil and other impurities. The dual beads are said to enhance exfoliation and slough away dead skin cells. They are micor in size and really do feel very gentle on my skin.

Although this isn’t a foaming wash per se, it did lather up fairly well and I felt the cooling sensation after it’d been washed off. The coolness lasted a few minutes, very pleasantly refreshing! It isn’t a facial wash for removing make-up so when I did use it for that purpose, it only managed to remove about 90% of my make-up with the residue coming off when I applied toner with a cotton pad.

Surprisingly, I like this facial wash quite a bit even though it can’t be considered suitable for my age and skin type. If you like or are looking for a cooling facial wash, check this one out. It comes in 2 sizes – 50ml/RM8.90 and 100ml/RM13.90.
