My favourite type of concealer is the creamy kind like MAC’s Select Moisturecover because it’s hydrating and provides excellent coverage. Sephora has a range of brightening & smoothing concealers which come in click-pens. There are 8 shades altogether to cater to all complexions.
Their new illuminator brush is tapered so that it can be applied directly to the under-eye area. The formula contains hyaluronic acid so it really does provide hydration in addition to its other features which are to conceal imperfections and brighten dark areas.
My Brightening & Smoothing Concealer is in 01 Radiant Ivory. It’s a natural tone for fairer skins. I like the fact that the pen dispenses just the right amount for each application so that there is no residue on the brush. There is no need for me to wipe the brush after each use.
The creaminess of the formula makes it so easy to blend and it brightens up my skin even when I have no dark circles to hide. It has light-reflecting pigments so there is a subtle illumination on areas where the concealer has been blended. I have used the excess on my eyelids as well so that it is also brightened.
For the quality, it’s reasonably priced at RM55, available at Sephora outlets.
