We spent 2 years in product development for the Meeracle Facial Serum before launching it and we also spent a lot of time to create the ultimate formulation for our Facial Cleanser with malachite which we launched last year,” said Meera Nordin.
During the event, Managing Director of Edelsteen Sdn Bhd, Raja Mohd Nasrullah Haziq b. Raja Abdul Rashid also launched “EMPOWERING YOU”, the company’s corporate social responsibility programme that will reach out and help women from financially disadvantaged backgrounds by giving them the opportunity to improve their situation.
Working closely with Meeracle’s Master Stockists – the backbone of the brand’s dealer distribution network – the programme will offer these women training, mentorship and a business start-up kit.
“Women are industrious and resilient by nature, and by helping those form a financially disadvantaged background we are helping them improve the lives of their children, family and community. This CSR programme will give them an opportunity to start a small business which they can grow and look forward to a better life. We hope to reach out and help about 50 to 60 women this first year”, said Raja Haziq at the launch.
