Fashionably Modest Asia (FMA) returns from 13 to 15 November 2026 at Pavilion Arena, Pavilion Damansara Heights, bringing together established fashion names, emerging designers, creative personalities, and media collaborations for three days exploring the changing face of contemporary modest fashion.
Entering its second year, FMA 2026 moves the conversation beyond visibility alone to explore the different ways designers are building identity, connecting with audiences and developing distinctive brands. Across the programme, modest dressing is approached not as a single aesthetic or category, but as an evolving expression of personal style, culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary fashion.
From established names to a new generation of labels, the 2026 programme reflects the increasingly varied landscape of modest fashion today. Participating designers and creatives include Radzuan Radziwill, Asyraf Arrif, Enya Chok, Jeffery Goh, Shaznash, Zachrin Jaafars, Jeff Yeong, Raja Irfan, Russell Chin, Bumi Arman, SYOMSZ by Syomirizwa Gupta, Sara J, Nanalyana, Wan & Mary × Labreya, Atelier Prive Melson, Ashley@Kapas, Bidadara by DanielDolt, Inna Ddin, Thalia × Dayah, and Sharifah Kirana, among ASEAN Designers from MONOLOQ, Ja.SOCHA, SAN & SANS, Island Shops from Singapore, and AYN ABAYA, IKYK & Nada Puspita from Indonesia.
“The first FMA showed us that there is a real audience for contemporary modest fashion and for the designers shaping it. For our second year, we want to take that conversation further. Fashion today is not only about creating a good collection. Designers also have to understand who they are, who they are speaking to and how they build an identity that audiences can recognise and connect with. FMA gives us an opportunity to put different designers, ideas, and audiences together and see where those conversations can lead.”
— Andrew Tan, Lifestyle Advisor of Fashionably Modest Asia 2026

FROM RUNWAY VISIBILITY TO BRAND RECOGNITION
The second edition also expands the relationship between fashion, media, and audiences through a series of runway presentations involving some of Malaysia’s established lifestyle and women’s media platforms. Majalah WM, Mingguan Wanita, Nona, and Hijabista will each present runway showcases during FMA 2026, pairing their established audience perspectives with selected designers and collections.
The collaborations form part of FMA’s wider approach to creating different points of discovery for participating designers, connecting the runway not only with the fashion community, but with audiences who engage with fashion through media, beauty, lifestyle, and personal style. Rather than viewing a runway presentation as an end point, FMA sees visibility as the beginning of a longer process: building recognition, establishing a point of view, and creating stronger onnections between designers and the people who may eventually wear their clothes.
DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES, ONE FMA CALENDAR
Across three days, the FMA calendar moves between individual showcases, collective presentations, and creative collaborations. The programme brings contrasting approaches to contemporary modest dressing onto the same platform, from established fashion voices and occasion dressing to ready-to-wear, emerging labels, personal collaborations, and new interpretations of familiar silhouettes. This variety continues the founding idea behind FMA: that modest fashion does not need to conform to one prescribed look. Instead, the platform provides space for designers to develop and communicate their own interpretation of what modest dressing can be.

STYLE BEYOND THE RUNWAY
FMA 2026 will also work with Khainina Khalil, bringing her distinctive personal style and contemporary perspective on modest dressing to the platform.
Khainina’s relationship with FMA began organically during its inaugural edition, where she expressed her appreciation for the platform and its ability to make fashion and styling more accessible to audiences interested in developing their own sense of style. Her participation extends this year’s conversation beyond what designers put onto a runway to how fashion is ultimately interpreted, combined, and made personal by the people who wear it.
Further details of her involvement will be revealed as part of the FMA 2026 programme.
WARDAH RETURNS AS OFFICIAL MAKEUP AND BEAUTY PARTNER
Wardah returns as the Official Makeup and Beauty Partner of Fashionably Modest Asia 2026, continuing a partnership established during the inaugural edition. Bringing beauty and fashion together, the collaboration celebrates the evolving expression of contemporary modest style, where beauty completes the look, personal style makes a statement, and individuality takes centre stage. It also reflects a shared commitment to empowering women, championing creative expression, and supporting the growth of Malaysia’s modest fashion community.
For Wardah, beauty is more than a finishing touch; it is an extension of personal style and a way for women to express who they are with confidence. Through its continued partnership with FMA, Wardah stands alongside the designers, women, and creatives shaping the local modest fashion scene, celebrating the diverse interpretations of modest dressing and the creativity that makes each style uniquely personal.
For the 2026 edition, Wardah will bring this fashion-meets-beauty narrative to life through campaign initiatives and on-ground beauty experiences featuring Wardah Pep Plump Lip Oil, the Crystal Secret skincare range, its new Skin Tint and more. From the finishing touches that elevate a look to beauty experiences that invite audiences to explore their own style, Wardah aims to inspire women to experiment, express themselves, and embrace the many ways beautyand modest fashion come together.
