IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, kicked off 2025 with an electrifying New Year’s Eve celebration, drawing close to 30,000 enthusiastic attendees for a night filled with show-stopping performances, festive cheer, and a spectacular fireworks display. The MeleTOP Countdown Concert, presented in partnership with Astro, delivered an unforgettable experience, cementing IOI City Mall’s reputation as the ultimate year-end celebration destination.
This year marked two significant milestones — the first-ever outdoor MeleTOP Concert to be broadcast live on TV in Malaysia, and IOI City Mall’s inaugural collaboration with MeleTOP to deliver a concert of this scale. These achievements underscore IOI City Mall’s capability to host large-scale events that resonate with audiences nationwide.

The festivities began in the early evening with a carnival-like atmosphere spread throughout the mall, featuring food trucks and captivating performances by LED jugglers, magicians, and violinists. Families and friends enjoyed the lively ambience as fiery pyro acts and interactive entertainment kept spirits high across various zones.
The evening continued with energetic performances from some of the finest talents under Rocketfuel Entertainment, including Hong Kong’s Canto-pop sensation William So Wing Hong, Dr Soo Wincci, Nadeera Zaini, Wani Kayrie, Dennis Lau, Dinda Dania, Evertts Gomes, Azqa Aziz, and many more. These dynamic performances set the stage for an unforgettable night.
An Unforgettable Night of Performances
The energy peaked at 10 PM with the highly anticipated MeleTOP Countdown Concert, hosted by Nabil, Hawa, and Namie. The concert kicked off with performances from celebrated local stars Ayda Jebat, Shiha Zikir, and Noki K-Clique, setting a spectacular tone for the night.
The star-studded lineup continued with powerhouse acts by Shila Amzah, Aina Abdul, Dato’ Ramli Sarip, Hael Husaini, and Khai Bahar, alongside a surprise appearance by Syafiq Kyle that thrilled the audience.
The night also featured stellar performances from Fahimi and Firdaus Rahmat, Illa Sabry, Shila Abdull, Ronnie Hussein, Fairuz Selamat, Rizal Rasid, Naqiu Mohd, Noraniza Idris, and Bunga Isme, ensuring the crowd remained captivated until the final note.
As the clock struck midnight, the crowd was mesmerised by a breathtaking 10-minute fireworks display, lighting up the Putrajaya skyline and marking the beginning of 2025 with an explosion of colour and joy.
