WonderLab, STEP8IGHT Plus Collaborate To Launch ‘SCT’, A Body Mist Series That Captures Time And draws Out The Iconic

WonderLab has partnered with STEP8IGHT Plus to introduce its first-ever body mist collection, marking WonderLab’s expansion beyond skincare.

WonderLab, a beauty and wellness brand under CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad (“CUCKOO Malaysia”), has partnered with STEP8IGHT Plus, the fragrance-focused sister brand of the Malaysian lifestyle brand, STEP8IGHT, to unveil their first-ever body mist collection, SCT. Beyond a collection of pleasant smells, SCT, which stands for Scent Creation Timeline, leans to a specific timeline in art and history to evoke a memory, mood and imagination through two signature body mists. By wearing each scent, individuals are encouraged to engage in a sensory dialogue that helps them reveal their own story and identity. This curated collection makes its debut at the SC8NT Pop-Up event, held at The Starhill KL, from 1 – 7 September 2025.

The WonderLab, STEP8IGHT Plus collaboration saw the launch of the SCT (Scent Creation Timeline) collection, which includes two body mists, SCT. 806 and SCT. 807, inspired by specific timelines in art and history to evoke memory, feeling or for bold self-expression.

A Body Mist Collection Inspired by Art, Drawing Out An Iconic Self-Expression

The WonderLab x STEP8IGHT Plus SCT Body Mist Collection introduces two distinct body mists, each inspired by an iconic work of art, transforming its visual and emotional essence into a wearable scent that helps one discover a feeling, a memory, or an identity.

SCT. 806 IMPRESSION SUNRISE 1872

This body mist is inspired by Claude Monet’s Impressionist masterpiece, Impression, Sunrise, a painting which depicts a rising sun piercing through the morning mist at a busy habour. It has a soft, fruity and vibrant scent that captures the gentle interplay of light and shadow. Its top notes of Passionfruit, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Tangerine, and Big Strawberry burst with the energy of a sun-drenched morning and morning fruits. This is followed by a soft, floral heart of Peony, Vanilla Orchid, Red Berries, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley, before settling into a grounding base of Musk, Woody Notes, and Oakmoss, mirroring the quiet, earthy silhouette beneath a rising sun. Fresh, gentle and grounded, this body mist reflects the impressionist spirit of fleeting beauty and fresh beginnings, and invites one to embrace the bright start of one’s own story.

SCT. 807 THE STARRY NIGHT 1889

A tribute to Vincent van Gogh’s iconic masterpiece, this fragrance offers a deeper, more introspective scent, echoing the loneliness of night, the poetry of dreams, and the mystery of a star-lit sky. It opens with a bright yet mysterious blend of Bergamot and Star Anise, reminiscent of a glimmer of stars in the darkness. The scent then swirls into a blend of floral and woody notes of Jasmine and Guaiac Wood, capturing the ethereal movement of Van Gogh’s celestial sky; before settling on the deep and grounded base notes of Leather, Tobacco, and Tonka Beans, echoing the quiet introspection that reveals one’s truest self. This blend is also called the scent of the soul — intimate, contemplative, and timelessly captivating.

Together, this collection embodies two sides of transformation: the fresh optimism of new starts and the quiet strength of inner reflection.

The Sc8NT Pop-Up: An Avant-Garde Experience

The collaboration between the brands also culminates in the SC8NT Pop-Up Event, an immersive, avant-garde experience at The Starhill KL, from 1 – 7 September 2025. Featuring bold, experimental design, the event serves as a creative physical manifestation of the WonderLab, STEP8IGHT and STEP8IGHT Plus’ shared message: to find beauty and be unafraid in self-expression.

Beyond the stunning aesthetic, the pop-up offers a full week of exclusive activities and prizes. Visitors can participate in a variety of lucky draws, either by completing visiting all booths for a chance to win exclusive prizes, including a soft serve, bagel and curated WonderDewi-C drink, or by purchasing an item for an entry into the grand lucky draw to win RM12,800. Throughout the week, the event will also feature attractive promotions, engaging creative workshops, a singing competition, and on 6 September 2025 at 7.30pm, a special mini concert.
