Varicoloured Sasatinnie Sheet Masks

Being a fan of sheet masks (even though there are very few truly outstanding ones), I was once again on the hunt at Sasa. When it comes to sheet mask choices, Sasa doesn’t disappoint. This time, I noticed a new range of sheet masks from Sasatinnie.

There were 10 types in varicoloured boxes all lined up in a row, half were for oily skins while the other half were for dry skins. I scrutinised all of them, looking for something to treat dehydration and anti-ageing.

After much deliberating, I chose the pink box (3 pieces per box), Coralline Algae Mask. Other than Coralline Algae which is called “bird nest in the sea” (such fanciful terms), it contains USDA organic certified Aloe Vera and ECOCERT and BIO SUISSE organically certificated Edelweiss.

As per the norm these days with Korea and Taiwan manufactured sheet masks, these masks are wrapped around a plastic sheet. The moisture content and thickness of the sheet is similar to My Beauty Diary masks. If I didn’t know better, I’d have thought it was one of the MBD masks.

It wasn’t the best fitting mask as it fit a little awkwardly around the mouth area. Although the recommended usage time is 15-20 minutes, I had it on for slightly more than 30 minutes. It does have a fragrance but doesn’t last long.

At RM14.90 per box, I found them to be averagely moisturising. While the masks contain some organic ingredients, note that they contain parabens. The other variants are Rose Q10, Lily, Begonia, Orange Blossom, Aloe Vera & Tea Tree, Marine Collagen, Camellia, Job’s Tears and Vanilla.
