Vanity Trove Debut Box

After an unsuccessful 1st attempt to drop off my Vanity Trove Debut Box yesterday, it’s finally here. It took me just about all of yesterday afternoon to contact the courier as no one picked up my call on the general line and I had to resort to calling the pick up line listed on the courier’s website. My attempts to reach someone were in vain for a few hours as the person in charge wasn’t in and although I left a message to return my call with someone in HR, that didn’t work either. In the end, I emailed them on their contact form. The person in charge called me back after that to arrange for redelivery today.

As with all beauty boxes, Vanity Trove’s contains several product brochures and this lovely butterfly and flower card. Unfortunately, it isn’t addressed to me. It bears the name of another blogger so I presume mine must have gone to someone else assuming they did include a similar card in my box. Oh well…..these things happen.

The box looks exactly like the one I received earlier at the Kanebo workshop. You slide open the box like you would a drawer, that is the unique feature of this box and makes it different from other beauty boxes I’ve received so far.

So what’s in this debut box (mind you, I did have high expectations since their monthly subscription fee is RM60)? Let’s take a look.

  • a little floral candy box containing 2 pieces of Merci Petits Milk Cream
  • 7.5ml Benefit POREfessional
  • b.liv Blackheads Sebum Gel sample
  • 30ml x 2 Wella Professional Shampoo & Mask
  • 2ml x 2 ORIKS BB Cream
  • ORIKS Twister Essence sample
  • 25ml di palomo Tuscan Rose Moisturising Body Wash

This is a box containing all sample size products so I admit to feeling a bit disappointed that there isn’t even one full-size product in here. Hopefully there’ll be at least one full size product in their next box? The only product in this box I look forward to trying out is the di palomo Tuscan Rose Moisturising Body Wash. I’ve seen the Wella Professional samples in other beauty boxes before so yeah, I hope their next box will be better than this one.

Thanks to Vanity Trove Malaysia for the complimentary box.

  1. Yes, it looks disappointing for a RM60 box. I could get the Benefit & Wella items from previous FF box for only RM35. Why do I need to pay a hefty RM60 for this? Anyways, I’ve ordered one trial box for myself and it hasn’t even reached me yet. When asked, I was just told to be patient..no tracking number etc and I stay in KL, how long does delivery in KL takes? Even Pos Laju can do better than this..

    1. I agree with you. Poslaju service is pretty good and if I am not in, I can take the card and collect from Poslaju after 8pm. Their location is very convenient for me.
