The Square by Jaya One celebrated Christmas and will be celebrating the New Year of 2020 with the city’s community by introducing a full-blown countdown party on 24 and 31 December 2019. Since its revamp in early 2019, The Square has transformed into Petaling Jaya’s newest entertainment hub that champions late-night dining and leisure options as well as pet-friendly initiatives.
For the first time ever, The Square brings in live DJ set by DJ Joleen and DJ Jodie to intensify the party spirit on 24 & 31 December respectively. Both heavenly club spinners will keep the crowd entertained with electronic dance bangers, seductive scores and tropical house vibes in a fully-fledged open space nightclub. On the line up, event-goers can also expect thrilling fire spinning performance presented by Tommy Thongchai – a Thai fusion gastrobar – as fire shows are part of the nightlife culture celebrated in Thailand.
In championing #LateNightLive, The Square’s Christmas and New Year’s Eve Countdown has promising live music – Music Sense live band, presented by Three Stooges; and Joey Wee acoustic set, presented by SMORES and HOP Beer Bar, which will take the stage to soundtrack the moment of countdown. Both bands’ classic jams, pop tunes, holiday music and dance theme will prove fitting against the chill, Christmassy vibe around the concourse.
To have a taste of winter in tropical Malaysia, the Christmas countdown is magnified with epic snow party into the festive day. Both countdown parties will also be adorned with a moment of glittery confetti rain. Event-goers can look forward to craft lasting experiences and solidify bonds of camaraderie by capturing moments of joy and good times at several instagrammable spots around The Square.
As a pet-friendly space, event-goers are encouraged to bring along pets, party squad, best
friends and special ones to ring in 2020 with a bang. This is a chance to soak up Malaysia’s
late-night scene at the city’s biggest yet hottest party.
