The Al McKay Allstars dazzled at the Mega Star Arena with an entrancing celebration of Earth, Wind & Fire’s music. Fans were transported back in time with electrifying renditions of “Boogie Wonderland,” and “Let’s Groove,” filling the night with high-energy funk, R&B, and soul.

Known for their genre-defying sound, Earth, Wind & Fire has inspired generations, with Al McKay co-writing enduring hits like “Sing a Song” and “September”—timeless tracks that have amassed millions of streams and continue to resonate worldwide.

In support of Badan Amal Kasih Sayang (BAKASA), the concert began with an opening performance by the powerhouse vocalist, Celebrity Singer Halida Ramlee, followed by an introduction from Dato Yasmin Yusuff. The Al McKay Allstars’ The Earth, Wind & Fire Experience captivated the Kuala Lumpur audience, taking them on an immersive journey through the legendary band’s timeless hits. The dynamic performance masterfully combined live musicianship with breathtaking visuals, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

Some fans arrived dressed in retro style, fully embracing the vibe and showing their excitement for the concert. as the lights dimmed, the evening kicked off with a dynamic opening act, building excitement and anticipation among the crowd. Soon, the Al McKay Allstars took the stage, their electrifying presence instantly captivating the audience.

Everyone enjoyed the unforgettable hits

For more than 75 exhilarating minutes, the band breathed new life into Earth, Wind & Fire’s iconic hits, performing classics like “Serpentine Fire” and “Shining Star.” Each song had fans singing along and dancing all night long, immersed in the magic of world-class showmanship.

When the unforgettable beat of “September” filled the arena, the excitement reached new heights. This timeless classic had everyone dancing, unable to resist the infectious rhythm that united the crowd in joyful movement.

Lead vocalist Tim Owens expressed the band’s heartfelt gratitude to the Malaysian audience, even saying “terima kasih” as a warm thank-you. After a brief pause, the encore arrived with two final songs “Boogie Wonderland” and “Let’s Groove.” With the opening beats, the crowd was once again on their feet, grooving along to the irresistible rhythm.

As the last notes echoed through the arena, the Al Mckay Allstars exited the stage to thunderous applause, sealing the night with an energy that captured the timeless essence of Earth, Wind & Fire. Fans of all ages danced and sang along, visibly moved by the nostalgia and joy of the performance. Many praised the Al McKay Allstars for bringing these classic songs back to life, filling the venue with cherished memories and pure musical magic.
