Staycation At AC Hotel By Marriott KL

Prime Deluxe Twin

Last Saturday afternoon, I checked into AC Hotel By Marriott along Jalan Lumut, KL. I didn’t know about the existence of AC Hotel until I was offered a 1-night stay there in preparation for a media event the next day. The Prime Deluxe Twin room is spacious enough for 2 people with a work desk and fast complimentary Wi-Fi. There is even a sofa bed by the window which has a view of the city.

Work desk and tv is on showing an ad of the hotel until I found the remote in the desk and switched it off
Sofa bed by window
Complimentary hot drinks
Lugage space as soon as you enter the room
Shower
Sink with enough face towels underneath
Towels which I didn’t use
Amenity kits and more towels for hands
Coffee House

There are a lot of hand and face towels in the toilet but not what I really needed most – a shower cap! There’s no bar of soap provided, all toiletries are in refillable bottles which seems to be the case with modern hotels.

My room was spacious enough and I did have a very pleasant stay there. I liked the small pillow on the bed, easier to hold than the normal sized pillow. The twin bed was a wee bit small though. A good and bright reading lamp was available on the work desk.

The breakfast buffet was good the next morning. There was an eggs station where you could request eggs done whatever way you wanted. Seats were still available at the coffee house even though there was a tour group having breakfast too. The swimming pool is on the 3rd floor but nothing much to look at as it’s rather small. Front desk service was great. I requested for late check-out and got it extended from noon till 2pm.
