Souper Tang Celebrates Flagship Store Opening With Cheah Liek Hou, Launches New Souperfast Herbal Soup Series

Sunway Pyramid was exceptionally festive on 17th November 2024 as Malaysia’s national badminton icon and two-time Paralympic gold medalist, Cheah Liek Hou (謝儀豪), joined YB Teresa Kok Suh Sim, Member of Parliament for Seputeh, in officiating the grand opening of Souper Tang’s flagship outlet. Spanning 5,700 sq. ft., this largest outlet of its kind in Malaysia also features state-of-the-art décor and multiple VIP rooms, designed to serve as an exclusive event space for hosting a variety of celebrations.

Over one hundred attendees, including representatives from industry associations, influencers, sports enthusiasts, and mall visitors, gathered to hear Cheah Liek Hou share valuable insights into the discipline, resilience, and dedication required for sustained success. He discussed how his daily routines, rigorous training, and wellness practices have contributed to his achievements and emphasized the importance of maintaining balance in all areas of life.

His inspiring words resonated with the audience and further highlighted the shared mission of both Cheah Liek Hou and Souper Tang to promote healthier living. During the ceremony, the Malaysia Book of Records presented Souper Tang with two national record certificates, recognizing the brand’s exceptional product achievements—’Most Bird’s Nest Sold in a Year,’ with 243,119 units sold, and ‘Most Herbal Soup Sold in a Year,’ with 380,930 units sold. These accomplishments highlight Souper Tang’s leadership in the herbal-based culinary sector and its ability to meet the growing demand for high-quality, health-focused meals.

The brand introduced the Souper Tang SouperFast Herbal Soup series, which features nine different soups that are ready to brew in just 30 minutes.
