At yesterday’s Nespresso Ispirazione Italiana event, Shaun Liew Malaysia Brewers Cup Champion 2017 and 2019 introduced media and guests to the Ispirazione Italiana range. There are currently 7 types of coffee in this range with the 2 latest being Ispirazione Napoli and Ispirazione Venezia.
Ispirazione Napoli is a full Robusta so it has an intense, full creamy body with a dark chocolate finish while Ispirazione Venezia is a harmoniously balanced and thick body coffee. Shaun demonstrated 3 coffees namely Napoli Citrus Mocktail, Venezia Tiramisu Cappuccino and Affogato.
I tried the Venezia Tiramisu Cappuccino and liked it quite a bit as it is not too bitter. This is a delightful coffee to enjoy any time of day or night. The entire range of Ispirazione Italiana consists of familiar espressos and ristrettos that have now evolved to better reflect the distinct tastes and roasting expertise of regional Italian coffee and local life. There are light roasts from the North to the darker roasts of the South.
