The “Giving Love, Growing Smile” charity initiative, jointly organized by PUTIEN Restaurant and SEGi University, has officially been certified by Guinness World RecordsTM — setting a new world record for the THE MOST PARTICIPATE SIGNATURE ON BAG IN 24 HOURS at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
Held over two impactful days, July 5–6, at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, the event attracted thousands of passionate participants — students, parents, and members of the public — who came together to sign a giant eco-friendly tote bag and leave their personal mark on what has become Malaysia’s warmest art-and-signature charity moment.painting tote bags for a cause.

A Record Written in Love and Unity
The final number of signatures officially surpassed the previous record, earning Malaysia a new Guinness World Record title under the “Giving Love, Growing Smile” campaign.
But this giant eco-bag filled with names is more than a record — it is a symbol of national memory, of love expressed through creativity, and a shared action that crossed age, race, and background.
To every child who painted, every adult who signed, and every person who supported — you didn’t just help break a record — you proved that the most beautiful power in the world comes from the love between children and their community.
Six Months of Heartfelt Effort
This proud moment is the result of a six-month journey of compassion and connection. Since February 18, PUTIEN and SEGi University teams visited primary and secondary schools, charities, and community groups across the country, encouraging children to create meaningful artwork under the theme of “Home”.
Each piece was not just a drawing, but a child’s way of giving back to society with their own hands. We witnessed children painting with joy and concentration, proud faces showing off completed works, teachers cheering them on, and parents supporting their little artists.
All painted tote bags were sold, and 100% of proceeds were donated to the Nanyang Press Foundation, supporting underprivileged communities in Malaysia. This initiative proved one simple truth: even a drawing can help change the world.

A Song That Carries Hope: “The Sky Full of Stars”
To celebrate this movement, Malaysian singer-songwriter Yise Loo specially composed an original theme song, 《滿天都是小星星》 (“The Sky Full of Stars”). The song was performed by a lineup of beloved Malaysian artists including:
Yise Loo, DanielChezi, Danny Koo (Ah Boy), Ribbon 黄若熙, Geraldine, Bell 傅熙雅 (宇田), Von Lee (ManHanD), Daeren Tan (ManHanD & dayDream), Staff from PUTIEN Students from SEGi University & Students from Nanyang Press Foundation’s “Shining Star Program”
Together, their voices carried a message of love, unity, and hope through music.
