Mandara Spa Sheraton Imperial Hotel

Spas in the middle of the city are a welcome respite from the chaos of the traffic and once you step into Mandara Spa at Sheraton Imperial Hotel along Jalan Sultan Ismail, you immediately forget the crawl along the road. I dread that stretch of Jalan Sultan Ismail as traffic’s almost always at snail’s pace. However Mandara Spa is worth the time it takes to get there.

This time, I was offered the 1 hour Elemis Skin Specific Facial worth RM255 of which there are 3 variants:-

1. Fruit Active Glow brings back glow to a lifeless complexion.

2. Exotic Moisture Dew which the therapist informed me was more for sensitive skins.

3. Herbal Lavendar Repair for deep cleaning, hence oily skins would benefit from this one.

Located on the 5th floor of Sheraton Imperial (same floor as the swimming pool and fitness center), this Mandara Spa is one I could spend the whole day. Two double Spa Suites with steam shower, outdoor bath, shower and relaxation area have been added to complement four single Ladies treatment rooms, four single Men’s treatment rooms, separate male and female steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and relaxation lounge. The jacuzzi looked so inviting!

Mandara Spa uses Elemis products for the facials so you can expect all the skincare products to smell marvelous. There are a few Elemis favourites of mine.

Perfect for dry skin that needs an intense rejuvenating moisture hit. Packed with active extracts of Strawberry and Kiwi fruit, this deep cleansing, creamy mask restores the glow to dulled complexions.
