Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist

Do we really need skin mists? Having used quite a few bottles myself, I can safely say that it’s not a must but they’re good to have around. As I have dry skin, I have often found myself wishing there was a bottle of mist around which I can just spritz on to my face.

Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist is one of the new additions to their Water Bank range. The Mineral Skin Mist was only available mid-2012. It complements the essence and moisturiser by soothing and giving the skin that extra protection it needs from the effects of UV exposure, pollution and external aggressors.

The scent used in the Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist is derived from an Organic Lemon Verbena Extract. The Lemon Verbena has therapeutic properties, which includes de-stressing; strengthening the nervous system and it is said to be also high in anti-oxidants.

The mist that comes out of the pump bottle is quite fine and 3 sprays is about all I need to rehydrate my skin. This is a good alternative to toner. Spraying this Skin Mist on my skin prior to applying serum/moisturiser preps my skin for the skincare and I find that the serum/moisturiser absorbs better and faster into my skin if my skin is moist.

Although the plastic bottle is lightweight, it would have been nice if there was a travel-sized version, e.g. 60ml which would be half the size of this one, for bringing along on trips. The Skin Mist is great as a skin refresher and I use it on my neck too any time my skin needs a bit of moisture.

Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist retails at RM85.
