After Estika Medispa received the award, I sat down with Dr. Haq and Dr. Hanafi for an interview.

Please tell us about Estika Medispa & the services offered.
Estika Medispa offers non-invasive beauty and anti-ageing treatments, superficial aesthetics with the latest technology backed by science and medical perspectives. We started in 2015 with the first outlet in Kuala Terengganu (Dr. Haq’s hometown). After I (Dr. Haq) finished my medical services with the government, I looked for business opportunities. I looked at current trends in the beauty industry such as aesthetics and medispas which offered chemical peeling, dermabrasion, laser, all of which enhance natural beauty.
We have 120,000 clients in our database. We focus on 2 things:
Effectiveness – we have 80% effective rate/customer satisfaction.
Pricing – we deliver results at spa service prices. Our services are at affordable rates. 10 years into the business, that is our priority.
What age range are the majority of your clients?
25 to 45 years old.
What are Estika’s popular treatments?
Brightening/whitening treatments to rejuvenate/look younger. recover from and prevent UV damage/using wrong skincare such as skincare that contains mercury.
Do you sell skincare for home usage?
Yes, we do offer different skincare for various types of skin such as for acne/pigmentation/ageing skin. We have a R&D team and the products are produced in Malaysia. Home care is most important as 70% of skin health comes from using the right skincare products.

I see it as a recognition of myself and my team’s hard work and effort. The whole company is very happy.
