First Aid Beauty Uplifting Serum

This Uplifting Serum comes in the form of a rollerball which delivers a concentrated amount of serum to the face and neck to firm, sculpt and smooth skin. It contains skin-firming polymers for instant sculpting,  advanced peptides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, humectants, and emollients.

The rollerball stimulates the skin by providing a micro-circulation effect. It feels slightly cool and when the serum is absorbed, you’ll feel a tingling sensation. Actually, I felt the tingling sensation more when I first started using the product but now that I’ve been using it for over a month, I don’t feel it any more. Perhaps my skin has become immune to it.

To apply, you twist the applicator to the “ON” position, squeeze out a minute amount of serum and apply to your forehead, cheek and jaw in horizontal motions while for the neck, the instructions state that it should be applied in upward motions only.

The tingling sensation is because of the skin firming polymers at work. Although I said earlier that I’ve been using this product for over a month, I haven’t been using it on a daily basis, just a few times a week which kind of makes it hard to see results. I don’t use it on days when I’m putting on make-up immediately afterwards and I do skip using it some nights. The reason is because it feels really sticky even though I tried using just a thin layer. It remains sticky even when the product has dried up.

Then sometimes the product comes off in flakes when I rub my skin. My skin only feels comfortable again when I rub my face with a wet cotton pad but then what’s the purpose of applying the product only to have it removed almost immediately afterwards? I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt that it works as claimed but unfortunately, I won’t be using it continuously to put that to the test.

First Aid Beauty Uplifting Serum is available exclusively at Sephora (50ml/RM174).
