Extraordinary Exfoliation From ExfoliKate

There are exfoliators and then there’s ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment from Kate Somerville. This product is inspired by Kate’s Signature Facial and is designed to clarify, polish skin at home and create a fresh-from-the-Clinic complexion.

It contains fruit enzymes to help clarify and renew skin, fade discoloration and polish skin for a smooth, glowing complexion. Unlike most exfoliators I have used previously, this one doesn’t contain beads or even granules. It has incredibly fine grains so I think it can be described as a polish rather than a scrub.

As the green exfoliant is quite thick like a paste, just a little is needed from the tube. Spread it evenly on damp face in circular motions and leave on for 2 minutes if possible. The longer it is left on, the more effective the results even if initially you might feel a stinging sensation. I think those who have more sensitive skins may find it uncomfortable as it could feel as if there is a mild burning but I am used to it and it doesn’t cause any redness post-application. The scent is a little spicy, something quite unusual and unique.

Any discomfort I may feel is worth it as I can feel like my skin has been polished to the max once the product has been washed off. It’s not only smooth, there is a healthy glow which lasts for days. It’s an incredible exfoliant and the best I have tried so far which says a lot as I have been through plenty of scrubs. Unfortunately, an extraordinary exfoliant often comes at an extraordinary price and this is 60ml/RM290.

There are 2 other variations of ExfoliKate:-

1. ExfoliKate Gentle for Sensitive Skin RM220

Purifying treatment which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles while calming and soothing skin.

2. ExfoliKate Acne RM220

Natural exfoliators combine with salicylic acid in an effort to clear up pimples and blackheads. Targets existing imperfections and prevents breakouts.

Note : ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment has been provided by Sephora PR for review.
