Cocicoci Opens At Midvalley

Although I’ve known of the existence of the Cocicoci outlet strategically situated along Bintang Walk, Jalan Bukit Bintang since early this year (it opened in March), I have never stepped foot in there mainly because I am always in a hurry every time I am in that area. Time really is money there because parking charges are steep and that doesn’t encourage one to linger around.

Therefore, I was mighty pleased to see Cocicoci open at Ground Floor, MidValley (it has been open for about a week) so that I can check out all the products without worrying about time (after all, parking charges at MidValley are a portion of what they are along Jalan Bukit Bintang) plus the fact that MidValley is one of the malls I frequent.

Cocicoci at MidValley occupies the space which was once occupied by a kiosk selling haircare products. The first products I spotted were Essence cosmetics which are from Germany and have consumer friendly prices, for example the mono eyeshadows are just RM7.90 each, mascaras are RM12.90 each and Mousse Foundations are RM18.90 each.

Prices are even lower than most brands at the drugstores so I’ll be keeping my eyes on Cocicoci. RM100 can get you quite a lot of Cocicoci products! Compare that to drugstore brands where RM100 can only get you so far.

There are 3 Essence mascaras which I was told are bestsellers at their outlet along Bintang Walk especially the Multi Action Mascara which can curl well without the use of an eyelash curler. I tested all 3 mascaras on my lashes. They are water-resistant and not waterproof but surprisingly, they didn’t smudge on my undereye area. The Multi Action False Lashes Mascara gives lengthens lashes quite a bit and the Multi Action Smokey Eyes Mascara gives even more length.

There are many other brands other than Essence worth checking out. Do take a look at the Night BB Cream, sounds intriguing? I thought that was rather unusual, it’s to be applied before you go to sleep. It’s an interesting product. Aren’t the Lip Balms in the pic above so cute? They come in strawberry, apple and cherry flavours. Some of the products have extremely eye-catching packaging.
