dsc_0024When beauty brands offer me a lipstick blister pack sample, I am always more than happy as I get to try different shades of lipstick. I still have this Burberry lipstick blister pack which I can’t remember when I got but it was probably years ago. Among the samples is that iconic shades, Lip Velvet Rosewood No. 421.

dsc_0025There are many shades of pink, this isn’t the saccharine sweet pastel pink that I dislike. This one veers towards a brown tone and I think it complements all skin tones, such a gorgeous shade. It is so richly pigmented and you get a strong colour pay-off. It’s creamy and not drying even though it’s soft-matte.
