My hands always feel dry which have led to fine lines and wrinkled knuckles but I have never been diligent in applying hand creams or lotions. I’m sure I should be more attentive towards caring for my hands as they are a dead giveaway in regard to my age.

An alternative to hand creams would be this slim glass Argan Oil With Geranium Roll-on For Hands, Nails & Cuticles from Melvita which I can bring along anywhere and apply whenever I feel my hands are getting too dry. Not that I have OCD but I do wash my hands quite often sometimes especially when I am swatching products.

The roller-ball applicator makes for convenient and easy application. The first few times I rolled it on my hands and nails, nothing much came out and I was beginning to think there was a defect but when I use it for the 4th time, more of the oil came out but not too much. The roller-ball is good for product control, you can have as little or as much as you want with9ut overdoing it.

The argan oil is enriched with geranium essential oil with regenerating properties. The scent is very light, very mild. For extra moisturising at home, I have used the roller-ball prior to applying hand cream. On its own however, hands are already very softened with just a few rolls.

This product is much more space-saving than a tube of hand cream, not to mention much lighter in weight so especially if you are travelling, you might want to bring this along. It’s certainly a lot less potentially messy than bringing along a full size bottle of oil. When I use the full size oils, one pump can be too much but with the Roll-on, I get just a minimal amount and in any case, even if I rolled it a few more times, it’d still be less than one pump from a full size bottle. The Roll-on is ideal for quantity control.
