Bottom : Rose Eye Palette
Looking at the entire MAC Shiny Pretty Things Collection last night at the launch party, I wasn’t as impressed by this holiday collection as much as previous years when they came up with much nicer packaging. This collection just could have done with more frills since it should be their best make-up collection of the year. Anyway, there are 2 eye palettes in this collection, smoky and rose. I prefer the smoky even though the colours are darker and maybe that is exactly why I prefer that palette.
I love the metallic especially the silver, dark brown and my favourite is the duochrome teal (best shade in the whole palette for me). Most of the textures are Frost with 1 Satin and 2 Matte.
The Rose Eye Palette, on the other hand, would appeal to those who veer towards pink, red, purple shades. Not sure if there are many people who dare to wear the fiery red and bright pink eye shadows in broad daylight though. Can be rather fierce looking unless you are off to a party.
The MAC Shiny Pretty Things Eye Palette retails at RM193.00, each compact comes with a double-ended brush. The Smoky Eye Palette is in blue packaging while the Rose Eye palette is in green packaging.
