This New Year, “golden” takes on a whole new meaning as Secret Recipe unveils its latest menu launch – the Golden Egg Series. Celebrating one of Malaysia’s most beloved flavours, each dish is served to satisfy savoury cravings and is best paired with their new and refreshing Fruit Tea Smoothies.
The new series features three dishes, including Salted Egg Fried Rice (RM24.80), Salted Egg Chicken Chop (RM26.80), and Salted Egg Fried Mantou (RM11.80). Whether customers are craving their comfort local dish, a Western twist, or an appetiser, there’s a “golden” option to satisfy every craving.
Start your course with Salted Egg Fried Mantou, an appetiser of golden fried mantou “soft buns” topped with salted egg crumbs. Served with a rich and creamy salted egg dipping sauce, it’s perfect for sharing or enjoying on its own.
For a hearty main dish, Salted Egg Fried Rice brings an elevated twist to the comforting Malaysian meal. Tossed with baby scallops, succulent shrimp, and salted egg crumbs, the fried rice is paired with a fresh side salad to balance the dish’s rich flavours.
The Salted Egg Chicken Chop puts a Western spin on the Golden Egg craze, serving up a golden, crispy chicken thigh drizzled in creamy salted egg sauce and dusted with salted egg crumbs. Accompanied by fried mantou bites and a fresh salad, this dish offers a combination of textures and flavours, making it a satisfying main course.
To complement the rich flavours of the Golden Egg Series, Secret Recipe’s new Fruit Tea Smoothies (RM11.80 each) provide a refreshing contrast with sweet and fruity notes. Cleanse the palate with the vibrant and zingy Strawberry Lemon Smoothie, the tropical Passion Mint Smoothie, the elegant and fragrant Tropical Rose Smoothie, the fresh and thirst-quenching Lychee Mint Smoothie, and the zesty Apple Calamansi Smoothie.
