Ceramic & Pottery Shop, Avanos Town
After the tour of Çardak Underground City, our tour group headed towards a Ceramic & Pottery Workshop which has existed since over a century ago. This workshop is located in Avanos town and the hand made products are hand decorated with special Anatolian motifs, some of which date back to the Ottoman age. The products are exquisite, each and every one of them are unique and incredibly beautiful.
This shop’s products are so colourful. The prices certainly reflect the quality of the workmanship which is so delicate. It would take quite a lot of time to hand make any of the products. Even if one doesn’t buy, it is interesting to watch the masters of the craft at work.
