Suria KLCC unveiled the tallest Christmas Tree In Malaysia at the KLCC Esplanade in conjunction with the upcoming Christmas celebration. Standing at 32 meters in height, 14 meters in width and 12.2 meters in diameter, the Christmas tree was acknowledged by the Malaysian Book of Records as the tallest Christmas tree replica in Malaysia. Suria KLCC invited 35 children from Rumah Charis to join in the event.
Themed ‘Candy Christmas’, Suria KLCC Centre Court is beautifully adorned with various types, shapes and colors of candy placed on the ginger bread man’s home and Christmas trees. Malaysia’s tallest Christmas Tree was installed and decorated over a period of 6 nights. The tree has 3.714 branches, 2,500 baubles and candy canes, 40,000 LED lights and weighs about 41,688kg. It is displayed at the KLCC Esplanade until 3 January 2016.
Each child from Rumah Charis received RM200 for their Christmas shopping spree while the Home received RM5000 worth of shopping vouchers for the preparation of Christmas celebration. From now until 27 December, shoppers who spend RM650 and above in a maximum of two accumulated receipts will receive a free ceramic candy bowl while weekend shoppers who spend RM3000 in a maximum of two accumulated receipts are entitled to redeem a set of Cle de Peau Beaute gift set.
